Feed Your Skin with Soothe & Luxe

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

Shay Diaz is the Owner of Soothe & Luxe, an all natural product line designed to feed and nourish your skin.

Who is Shay?

A regular girl from Gary, Indiana who grew up with eczema being her best friend. My eczema was so horrible that kids teased me about the patches on my arms, resulting in major insecurity issues. Thankfully, I had a grandmother who believed using different recipes from the south helped. From milk baths, to sea butter concoctions, her goal was to make sure I felt comfortable in my skin.

This is the core of Soothe & Luxe, feeling comfortable and beautiful in your kin. Our skin faces the most trauma, from eczema, oiliness, acne, scars, etc. yet it's also the first thing people associate you with.

How did Soothe & Luxe begin?

I started in my Indianapolis apartment. Just me, making sure I got it as close as possible to my Granny's remedies. All of my products are handmade, natural ingredient focused, with love in mind. I don't want to be another business that just looks to consumers to get money, I actually want to work with communities on feeding their beauty in every sense of the word. Feeding minds, properly feeding our bodies, and most of all feeding our souls.

But are the products actually effective?

Shay gave me the pleasure of trying her most requested soap called Ash. This is an activated charcoal soap that is complimented with brown sugar to buff away dead skin, shea butter, honey, and kaolin clay.

I have been using it for about 2-3 weeks now and I must say, it is absolutely amazing. I love the way it makes my skin feel and my dark spots have faded tremendously. The soap does a great job of soothing the skin while still exfoliating. I would highly recommend Soothe & Luxe!
