I'm sure your timeline was filled with nothing but pictures and videos from Pardi Gras over this past weekend. I must say, everyone looked stunning! Here are a couple of my favorite makeup looks that I did!
My first look that I created was a natural smokey eye. Usually for evening events I get a lot of requests for more dramatic looks with extra glitter and extra everything else. Well my gorgeous client here, doesn't normally wear makeup and always likes a more soft look regardless of the occasion. I used the Box of Crayons Palette on her eyes, which was so quick and simple, I only used the traditional 3 shadows. She doesn't like a lot of contouring or extra product on her face so besides her Fenty Foundation, I used very little bronzer, blush, concealer, highlight, etc. I felt like this look was perfect for a quick evening look without the dramatics. Yasss, honey show me more!
The next look I created was a bit more advanced. This client also doesn't normally wear makeup but wanted more of a sexy, glamorous look. She was also really set on trying a deep red-burgundy lipstick so I used Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Vamp and mixed it with Smashbox Liquid Lipstick in Vino Noir. For her eyeshadow, I used the same technique as the client above but I just added different shades of shimmer to her lid. Instead of using one gold shimmer, I used a few different kind to give more of a 3D-galaxy look. I loved the way it turned out because when she turned her face in certain lighting the colors changed and mixed well together with more definition than it would've looked with just using one type of shimmer. I felt this look was very sensual but still had some natural qualities to it. Check it out below!
